Big Top Studios - Terms & Conditions

Pricing – All prices are based on an 8 or 4 hour day between 9am-5pm with no VAT payable.

Overrun charges – A charge of £150 per hour will be added if the location / locations use exceeds the pre-arranged hours. Charges are applied at the beginning of each hour, and are to include set up and pack up time, ie a charge of £150 would be added at 5.01PM and a subsequent charge at 6.01PM . We do not offer part hour charges.

Out of hours – Although our normal business hours are 9am-5pm, we can accept differing hours on a case by case basis. Please note we may charge differently to open outside our normal hours.

Communal spaces– Some spaces such as green rooms and other communal areas are used by other clients and staff, and should be left clean and tidy with all rubbish including food and drink being taken away at the end of each day.

Vehicle use– Vehicles rented from Big Top Studio are done so at the renters own risk and may only be operated by Big Top Studios Ltd staff that are insured to drive them. Any damage done by cast, crew or other members of the renters team to a vehicle owned by Big Top Studios Ltd will be charged accordingly, or claimed off the renters\brokers insurance.

Damage to Studio\location\Equipment– Any damage done to locations, our studio or equipment by cast, crew or other members of the renters team may be charge accordingly or claimed off the renters/brokers insurance.

Deposits– a 10% deposit will be held for all bookings of either location, studio or vehicle hire.The deposit will be deducted from the final invoice.

Parking– We have plenty of on-site parking available however vehicles are left at the owners risk.

Cancellations– we accept free cancellations up to 48 hours in advance of a booking. Big Top Studios Ltd reserves the right to claim a 10% deposit if cancellations are made within 48 hours. cancellations made in advance of 48 hours will receive a deposit refund however, we will not refund for any charges already incurred by the studio such as rentals on equipment. If Big Top Studios LTD were to cancel a booked day, we will refund your deposit and work to find a suitable back up day wherever possible. Big Top studios will always seek to accommodate all bookings and this is purely in the case of exceptional circumstances such as a power failure, forced closure due to a technical issue or other unforeseen circumstance ‘act of god’
